AP Computer Science A is a first college course in programming taught entirely in Java. This track walks the ten units of the College Board's Course and Exam Description in order — from primitive types and expressions, through objects, conditionals, loops, and writing your own classes, to arrays, ArrayLists, 2D arrays, inheritance, polymorphism, and recursion — and finishes on the strategy for the two-part exam (40 multiple-choice questions plus four free-response problems). Every stage uses the restricted AP Java subset and the same Java Quick Reference you get on exam day.
